E-T Energy is engaged in the business of developing, operating, producing and selling recoverable bitumen found in the Athabasca oil sands deposits using the ET-DSP™ in situ method of production.

The ET-DSP™ method process involves passing electrical current from surface power distribution equipment.

Our Vision

To implement ET-DSP™ technology and demonstrate that it is the lowest cost production method of bitumen in the Athabasca Oil Sands.

Our Strategy

Taking a Phased Approach

E-T Energy's strategy is to develop the commercial production of bitumen in phases that maximizes capital efficiency and provides for early cash flow. Our goal will be to produce the bitumen as quickly as possible (within a year after installing the process in a given area) and move on to the next production area.

Field Test of the Technology and Reserves

Ongoing field testing of the ET-DSP™ method of in situ production is proving both the technical and commercial applicability of ET-DSP™ to the heating and production of bitumen. Performance metrics such as scalability, kilowatt hours of electricity required per barrel produced, total recovery factor, equivalent steam oil ratio, capital cost efficiency, operating cost per barrel, water usage, bitumen production per employee and carbon credit generation are being confirmed.

E-T Energy had completed a coring program in 2007 and 2008 on the company's oil sands leases to further delineate the resource base.

Phase I – Commercial Operations

E-T Energy is applying for regulatory approval for it's Phase I commercial development that will produce up to 10,000 bbl/d of bitumen. The initial production developed under Phase I will then be followed by additional phases of development that will each increase production levels up to 110,000 bbl/d.
